Kay Dougherty

“When I think of a life that is sacred and honorable, I think of a life of service. In the past 30 years I have participated in many different pathways to healing first as a client, then as a student, and now as a leader and teacher.

The constant feedback loop between the student and teacher is the greatest source of inspiration for my work. When knowledge and wisdom have been passed on and integrated by the student or client, there is no greater reward.

Despite my training across many modalities, it is my experience that the greatest things that you can offer a client are your undivided attention and your willingness to open to what Spirit has to offer. We are all here for such a brief moment on this planet and it is my honor and privilege to be of service to you. I wish you every success on your path to healing wherever that may take you.” - Kay Dougherty

Kay has been a full-time shamanic energy healer since 2005. Her training in Peruvian Shamanism began in 2004 first as a client and then as a student. After a year-long study program in North America she traveled to Peru where she was given a full initiation as a Pacqo on the Holy Mountain Ausingate by five esteemed shamans of the Andean mesyok tradition.

Following this initiation, Kay, enrolled in a two-year advanced intensive training under the direction of world-renowned shaman Sandra Ingerman of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Kay performs extractions, soul retrievals, love based- de possession. She does healings for those who have crossed over also known as Psychopomp. She does space clearing and ghost or haunted house healing so that those that are lost in the middle world may find the light.

Kay's journey began in 1992 when she was working for Capitol Records. She began an intense study of Tibetan Buddhism and Meditation to help with stress and anxiety. She also began to practice Yoga and work as a contributing writer for Shambalah Sun Magazine. This led to a job as a National Coordinator of Students for a Free Tibet and subsequent travel to India to study Buddhism.

After her time in India, she decided to teach Yoga full time. Through the practice of Yoga, she found the transformative path of Shamanic Energy Healing. Kay is forever thankful to her path to Shamanic Healing, it has forever changed her life for the better.
